Divine Domain has a special place in my heart because it was started by one of my Rho Mu Chapter sorors back in the year 2015. As a woman of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated initiated in the spring of 2011, Ms. Taryn Smith is always looking to reach out, uplift and improve the community she serves. This time, she used a less than perfect experience buying paraphernalia as motivation to begin her own business.
While trying to buy product from a particular vendor, not only was shipping information not produced in a timely manner, her product was never shipped. She reached out to PayPal to help assist her dispute only for the vendor to express their displeasure with her raising an issue with their unprofessional process. Later, Taryn found the vendor was actually not authorized by any organization to sell products on their behalf and from there the concept of Divine Domain was born.
Having a strong desire to become an entrepreneur, Taryn saw she was not alone in her experience. Many times members of Divine 9 Black Greek organization members, including myself, have trouble with custom orders of line jackets, t-shirts and various other items that not only come in on time, but are also provided by authorized vendors. Also by being initiated in one of the smaller undergraduate chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Taryn also realized that often times to get small scale custom orders from authorized vendors would be a burden on the chapter members to all get the same apparel.

But now Divine Domain is here and ready to serve your paraphernalia needs and soon will provide non-Greek affiliated graphic tees. They are still expanding to reach the rest of the Divine 9 so keep your eyes open for more product offerings. Divine Domain prides itself on customer service and making sure you get exactly what you want. I customized my jersey and they made sure to reach out to me with questions they had about my entry so they got it right the first time. If you’d like to go by and see what they have to offer, please visit their website at Divine Domain or catch them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Until next post folks…
