Jaired & Britney Epps have aggressively taken entrepreneurship by the reigns. This pair of North Carolina A&T trained engineers is constantly working to build on ideas that sometimes wake Britney up in her sleep. It’s clear that these two live by the mantra that “the sky is the limit” because they truly see no limit to the Epps Brand, and Eppic Caps is only the beginning.
Britney’s name would be familiar to those of you who read the post on Spark Designz L.L.C. from last week as she is the co-founder of that company as well. Jaired, on the other hand, is a trained mechanical engineer with a passion for cars and heavy interest in the stock market. The two definitely stay busy on their own, but always find ways to spend time together to travel or come up with fresh designs for their expanding hat collection.
Inspired by the biker community of Detroit, Michigan the first hat is the biker style that was signature to hip-hop fashion in the 90’s. The initial designs were the Detroit skyline and landmarks near a dear to the city culture. The secondary designs included artwork for the Divine 9 Greek Organizations and Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Eppic Caps customers also have the option to customize their own designs through the website. I’ve been granted the unique privilege to show a bit of one of the newest additions to the Eppic Caps Collection as they highlight Britney’s hometown of Charlotte, NC. To see more pictures of their designs and to order online visit the Eppic Caps blog here. And definitely tell them I sent you!
Be sure to check iTunes for the full interview on Thursday, July 7th at 8:30pm. And please subscribe, rate and review the show online.
Until next post folks…
