This topic is one of the reasons I started this blog because I wanted to share my experience navigating the world of personal finances and how I’m positioning myself and my family to build wealth for generations to come. I also feel passionately about supporting small businesses because they are the future Fortune 500’s of the world. I have no other reason to share this information and in all honesty if I inspire one person to open a savings account or to open a brokerage account, I think my blog has done its job. But one thing I do hope for more in the future is an open dialogue about ways to work smarter and not harder as an African American community when it comes to building wealth. Working together we can achieve so much more. We’re at a time where we need to unify and uplift one another, not tear each other down. Life is too short to always be mad and try to bring others to be mad with you. Be happy. Pray for someone else’s success because like the saying goes, when people around you are being blessed, God is in your neighborhood. You may be next.
